Rolando Rodriguez, M.D., F.A.C.C.
Dr. Rodriguez is Board Certified in Internal Medicine with subspecialty certification in Cardiovascular Diseases from the American Board of Internal Medicine. His Medical Doctorate was received from the University of South Florida in Tampa, FL., followed by an Internship and Residency in Internal Medicine at Duke University Medical Center, Durham, NC. He completed a Fellowship in Cardiology at the University of South Florida Medical Center in Tampa, FL.
Professionally he is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and affiliated with The American Heart Association in Hillsborough County. He has served as the President of the West Coast Academy of Cardiology. He is reported in the US World News and Reports as one of the best physicians. He is on the board of trustees of Cardiostart International, a medical missionary organization providing cardiac surgery and cardiology support services to third world countries. He is the first recipient of the Frist Humanitarian Award from HCA, West Coast division Florida.
His special interests include Coronary Angiography, Coronary Interventions, Echocardiography including Transesophageal Echocardiography Nuclear Cardiology, Nuclear Cardiology and Research. He is Board Certified in Vascular Imaging.
