William Bugni, MD, is board-certified in internal medicine with subspecialty certification in cardiovascular diseases from the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is proud to provide a wide range of care to patients at Bay Area Cardiology Associates PA, with four convenient locations in Brandon, Sun City Center, Riverview, and Tampa, Florida.Dr. Bugni received his medical doctorate from the University of Chicago in Illinois and obtained his training in internal medicine and cardiology from the University of Utah in Salt Lake City.Dr. Bugni has served as Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratories at Louisiana State University Medical Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and Morsani College of Medicine at the University of South Florida in Tampa. He is involved in clinical cardiovascular research, and his findings have been published in peer-review journals and textbooks.His special interests are clinical cardiology, cardiac catheterization, and cardiac transplantation, and multi-slice CT coronary angiography.
